  • Fiji Leaders win Global Ocean Conservation Award, June 2006.  HTML or PDF

  • Francis Wadui and Paul Led, two active Papua New Guinea LMMA members, were awarded the WWF Leaders for a Living Planet Award for their leadership in establishing community-based protected areas in PNG. This award was presented by Jim Leape, Director General for World Wildlife Fund International, at the Pacific Islands Forum meeting in Port Moresby, October 2005.

  • Bill Aalbersberg of the Fiji LMMA Network wins the 2005 Walter B. Jones Memorial and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Excellence Awards for Coastal and Ocean Resource Management. read more
